Automatic transfer switch
SOLARC SCTS2-63
AUTOMATIC SWITCHOVER BETWEEN GRID AND BACKUP SOURCE IN UNDER 50 MS
- Transfer Time
- < 50 ms
- Ratings
- 6 to 63 A
- Poles
- 2P or 4P
- Class
- PC, IEC 60947-6-1
The backup source takes over
The switch monitors the normal source (I). On a fault, it transfers the load to the backup source (II), then returns as soon as the normal source is restored. At 230 V, it disconnects below 175 V and above 270 V, and reconnects at 190 V and 250 V.
Automatic or manual
Auto / Manual selector on the front, operating handle and indicators for normal source, backup source and load on. The indicator flashes once for undervoltage, twice for overvoltage.
Grid, generator or inverter
Switches between the public grid, a generator or a pure sine wave inverter of at least 3,000 W. AC-31B utilisation category, PC class.
Compact, on DIN rail
108 × 50.5 × 78 mm in 2P, 108 × 82.5 × 78 mm in 4P, on DIN rail or screw mounted. 690 V insulation voltage, 8 kV impulse withstand, 4,000 mechanical operations.

Frequently asked questions
What is an automatic transfer switch for?
It powers an installation, or some of its circuits, from a second source when the first one fails: a generator, an off-grid battery inverter or a second supply. The switchover happens with no intervention, and so does the return to the normal source.
Have our team check your wiring diagramDo appliances switch off during the transfer?
The interruption lasts less than 50 ms. Lighting, heating, household appliances and most motors carry on without anyone noticing. A computer or network device may restart, however: it still needs an uninterruptible power supply.
